Bruce ORR was born in Rome and grew up in Delaware. He holds a Master’s of Art Therapy from Hahnemann University and a B.F.A. from The University of the Arts. Bruce has worked as an Art Therapist in a psychiatric hospital, a nationally published illustrator, a painter, a street caricaturist, an art teacher and a professional puppeteer. His artistic accomplishments include writing curricula for Oregon Public Broadcasting, making giant recycled sandals for Keen Footwear and painting a mural with students from James John Elementary School in Portland. He founded The Mudeye Puppet Company, a puppetry arts organization that promotes creative reuse through education and performance. When not doing art, he plays drums, Boggle and hangs out with his kids.
