Celso González Quiñones is Puerto Rican mosaic artist who is recognized around the world for his amazing mixed-media murals and his community projects. Over the past 8 years, Celso has been working on a commission of the government of Puerto Rico, developing over 40 monumental public art projects throughout the island. All of Celso’s projects have significant community importance. During the 2019 Beyond Walls Street Art Festival, Celso worked with local youth groups and made them part of his creative process. He says that his involvement with the community has proven to be the most gratifying part of his work.
