Lynnside Out: A Community Celebration with Mayor Jared C. Nicholson
Join Mayor Jared C. Nicholson as he turns City Hall “Lynnside Out” for the third consecutive year! It’s not just an event—it’s a vibrant community celebration that brings Lynn’s residents together to connect, learn, and enjoy.

Mayor Nicholson and City Hall are turning inside out to welcome all residents for a memorable day of connection, creativity, and community engagement. Discover what’s happening in your city as you meet with various City departments to discuss upcoming initiatives and learn about city services and projects that are most meaningful to you.

11:00 AM – Emcee Stewart Herrera Welcome
11:10 AM – The Blessing Dance from the Kakrona Center Cambodian Blessing Dance, or Robam Choun Por in Khmer language, is traditionally presented at the beginning of a ceremony or special occasion in Cambodia. This dance is to wish for good health, happiness, prosperity and success.
11:20 AM – Cambo Culture Crew Immerse yourself in Cambodian culture with a captivating blend of dance and music.
11:30 AM – Four the Band (Local Lynn Band)
12:00 PM – Mayor Jared Nicholson Welcome
12:10 PM – This Day in History Band (Local Lynn Band)
12:40 PM – Cultura Latina Dance Academy Experience the elegant folkloric dance performances from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Colombia, brought to life by the skilled dancers of Cultura Latina Dance Academy.
1:00 PM – DJ set Move to the beats of DJ Harvey Romero
2:00 PM – Antonio Gutierrez y el Super Poder Típico Get ready to dance to the vibrant rhythms of Antonio Gutierrez y El Super Poder Típico, a celebrated merengue típico band! Merengue típico, the oldest style of merengue still widely played in the Dominican Republic, hails from the Cibao region’s rich musical heritage.
2:55 PM – MC Stewart Herrera Close out Conclude the day with sincere gratitude and warm goodbyes
- RAW Arts will also be hosting a community-wide art activity “TOGETHER WE CAN” where the finished piece will be unveiled at the end of LynnsideOut for all to see and will then be housed in City Hall as a reminder of what we aim to be as a city.
