The 2024 Lynn Arts and Culture Festival, held on Saturday, August 10th, was a resounding success. It transformed downtown Lynn into a vibrant showcase of art, music, food, and community spirit. This year’s theme, “Community Coming Together,” perfectly encapsulated the essence of the event, as residents and visitors alike came together to celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of our beloved city.
A Day of Diverse Experiences
From 10 AM to 3 PM, the festival offered various activities across multiple downtown Lynn locations. A free trolley service, complete with live music, connected festival-goers to numerous hotspots, ensuring that everyone could easily experience all the festival had to offer.
Festival Highlights
The festival featured a diverse range of attractions across several key locations:
- Lynn Museum & Arts Center: Hosted an Art Installation Opening Celebration, Artisan Vendor Fair, and music by DJ Peter.
- The Studios at LMAC: Offered open galleries, an Art Bar, and open studios for local artists.
- Beyond Walls: Provided tours and live viaduct painting by artists.
- RAW (Raw Art Works): Showcased youth art and offered hands-on art-making activities.
- RAVENSTONE: Displayed unique gifts and art pieces.
- High Rock Tower: Featured family-friendly activities, including glitter tattoos, free ice cream, and tower tours.
Food and wine enthusiasts enjoyed offerings from Lucille Wine Shop & Tasting Room and First City Meats, adding culinary delight to the artistic atmosphere.
