Join the Sons of Union Veterans, 54th Mass Volunteers, & Living Historian Michael Crutcher as Frederick Douglass for a brief memorial service followed by a tour of graves. Julia Greene will give the tour, which focuses on those who helped build the anti-slavery movement.

This event is one of two events on October 4th commemorating the 16oth anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, Battle of Gettysburg, and Gettysburg Address.
