GALA announces an evening of Hispanic art, performances and cuisine, from 5:30 -7:30pm on Friday, September 15th. In celebration of the opening of the 2nd annual Hispanic Excellence Art Exhibit, Michelle Guzman and Annette Sykes would like to invite you to a cultural evening at the LynnArts Building (25 Exchange St Lynn, MA 01901)

We are proud to share paintings photos, sculptures and textiles by local Hispanic artists. These pieces reflect on the artists’ identities and their values, struggles and triumphs as Latinos/as. Michelle Guzman is GALA’s newest board member and guest curator – she is the entrepreneur who has started Lynn Walking Shoe Tours and is passionate about the creative economy in Lynn. She is very knowledgeable about arts, history and culture in Lynn as well as around the Greater Boston Area.

This is the second year that Guzman and Sykes are collaborating on the show for Hispanic Heritage Month.
