This is an 18+ Event + Admission is FREE. A Youth Spoken Word will begin on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 3pm. More information on the event series page.

Each artist will have five minutes or one piece (song, poem, spoken word or story) to perform.  Upon arrival, artists will sign in and place their name in the “Lighthouse.” Performance order will be determined by random draws from the Lighthouse, making each lineup unique and spontaneous.

We prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where everyone is encouraged to express themselves freely. The venue is accessible, ensuring that everyone in our community can participate comfortably. The DENCITY Soulcase + Open Mic is a sober event, creating a welcoming environment for all.  There will be NO alcohol sold and there will be NO smoking allowed on the premises during this DENCITY series held at the Neal Rantoul Vault Theatre.
