On Saturday, April 22nd, Jon Waterman will present “Cro-Magnon Blues: History and Legends through Song” at the Walnut Street Café in Lynn. The program of songs and history visits some fascinating characters and events throughout world history from the Stone Age to modern times. Some of the subjects include the first known author, an epic medieval battle, a feared bandit from the Old West, a great ship disaster, a renowned radio broadcast, and more.

Jon Waterman is a singer-songwriter and recipient of a 2023 MCC grant. The program is part of the series “Live Music Making History Live” and is supported in part by a grant from the Lynn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Walnut Street Cafe is at 127 Walnut St. in Lynn, MA.
