2023 Sabor De Lynn/ Taste of Lynn
June 23 - June 30
You are invited to explore a new restaurant or revisit one of your favorites while exploring the Downtown!
The City of Lynn, Downtown Lynn Cultural District, MassDevelopment Creative Cities initiative, and Creative Collective present “Sabor De Lynn,” a celebration of the diverse culinary landscape in Lynn throughout June. Key activities include the Loteria De Comida game from June 23–30th and the Summer Fest Final Fridays at Lynn Museum on June 30th. “Sabor De Lynn” highlights Downtown Lynn’s gastronomic variety, from traditional family businesses to contemporary culinary spots. The project is supported by a new restaurant directory on visitlynnma.org that features over 70 restaurants in the Cultural District, along with retail listings, public art, green spaces, and event listings. The intention of this initiative is to amplify and center the amazing restaurants, owners and dishes that already exist in the Downtown! There are no discounts and deals involved in this and anyone can take advantage of the free marketing and promotions.
The Loteria de Comida game is a celebration highlight, providing a fun, engaging element. Loteria is similar to Bingo but features hand-illustrated images. Participants can earn stickers for spending at participating establishments, filling out a card for a chance to win prizes at the June 30th event. The cards are available from June 23rd to June 30th at over a dozen Downtown locations. Unique dishes and their stories from featured restaurants will be showcased throughout on the @vistlynnma social media channels and website. Attendees are encouraged to engage on social media, tagging locations and sharing experiences using the hashtag #sabordelynn.

“Sabor De Lynn” concludes with a grand finale and raffle at the Lynn Arts/Lynn Museum on June 30th during Final Fridays, featuring a free Dis and Dat Band concert, art making, raffle drawing, and beer garden by Bentwater Brewing. The month-long event offers an exciting culinary adventure, with restaurants serving their heritage, creativity, and passion. For updates, follow the blog and social media channels. Enjoy the flavor and immerse yourself in “Sabor De Lynn.”
This is the first Sabor De Lynn celebration, and the new branding and Downtown Lynn Cultural District site are the perfect platforms for future food-based initiatives from all different organizations. This is just the beginning!
